About
We’re providing shoes to thousands living in poverty.
Founded by Joseph Rubsamen in March of 2014, Shoes2You, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, was born out of an inspiration to help those living in poverty without shoes. Shoes2You has provided shoes to thousands of people around the world. All funds and shoes directly benefit the needy around the world.
Shoes2You has distributed shoes to organizations in Florida and internationally for students to attend school, adults to pursue an occupation, and all people to have proper foot care to prevent infection and other serious problems. Distribution locations include 10 organizations and regions in Florida, USA and five international organizations.
Our Mission.
To provide shoes to the hundreds of millions of people without shoes all over the world.
Our mission is to collect new and gently-used shoes and funds from schools, businesses, and the community and deliver them to those in need in underprivileged areas all over the world. Shoes2You continues to identify opportunities to expand collection and distribution efforts for the underprivileged in our own backyard and all over the world.
In several locations in which Shoes2You provides shoes, children need shoes to be able to go to school. It is required for the students to wear clothing and shoes in class. A lot of children miss the opportunity to receive an eduction because they do not own a pair of shoes. In many countries, a family with several children might own only one or two pairs of shoes for the children to share. The students will have half days or go to school every other day to share the shoes with their siblings. Shoes2You is aiming to reduce this problem and, as a result, has provided over fifteen thousand pairs of shoes and socks to children and adults all over the world.

Shoes2You has donated shoes internationally to the Education Rocks school sponsorship program in Bali, Indonesia and Haiti; Collins Agwanda Orphanage in Kenya; and the Los Pipitos Clinic, Women and Children’s Diabetic Center, and Fun Limon Organization in Rivas, Nicaragua. In the United States, Shoes2You has provided shoes to Paul’s Place in Delray Beach; the Palm Beach County Health Departments; Lord’s Place in West Palm Beach; Dress for Success; Lewis Center; the Achievement Center of Delray Beach; and the Mental Health Association of Palm Beach County.
The shoes provided to the Education Rocks school sponsorship program in Bali, Indonesia since 2014 and in Kenya in 2018 help the children in the Education Rocks program in be able to attend school.
